Geolocation not working

Hi there,

Thank you for your inquiry, for Geo Location, Google has required the server to be in HTTPS (SSL) if you’re using Chrome, more info is available in this article https://superstorefinder.net/support/knowledgebase/geo-location-not-working-in-chrome/

It’s not working on ipad safari, iphone safari, macbook safari. It’s useless at the moment, specially because it is behaving very bad on mobile devices.

I’d appreciate some support for this plugin.

Hi there,

You will require to upgrade your server to HTTPS as this has been made compulsory by Google, for mobile devices, ensure to enable location services.

So I need a SSL certificate? Since when is this? Because everything used to work fine.

Hi there,

Yes, you will need to use SSL certificate as this has been updated by Google to be made compulsory.

Hello,

The Geolocation is not working. On mobile devices it only shows the country.

Example == , Australia

I read your article and updated the GeoLiteCity.dat file but still not change?
