Zoom level when only 1 store within distance

  • Zoom level question

With the setting [Default map setting] set to “Geo Location” and [Advanced Zoom] set to “Fit markers on the map”. The user shares their location either via browser permission or by manually entering their location. If there are more than 1 stores within the distance (setting: [Distance km]), no store is selected and the map shows both store locations. the user then can pick a location. Once a location is selected, the map centers on the location and the zoom level is 14.

However If there is only 1 store within distance, the store is auto selected and the map zoom is set to MAX (20). I would like to change the zoom level to 14 as well.

Ive tried changing other settings ([Zoom Level], [Advanced Zoom]) but none of them affect the zoom level with the map setting is set to “Fit markers on the map”. the settings seem to work only for “Centralized search location”.

    Hi there,

Thank you for your inquiry, the plugin is using Google Maps API autofitbounds function which will zoom automatically depending on number of nearby markers and this is unfortunately out of our control.

The advanced zoom can only be used with Zoom Level set to Auto, due to this limitation, more details available in this knowledge base article here http://superstorefinder.net/support/knowledgebase/advanced-zoom-settings-feature/

For more info on zoom level and resolutions, you can refer to this forum post here http://superstorefinder.net/support/forums/topic/how-to-change-default-zoom-for-category-view/

    Cheers,
    Alex
