Unable to connect to database

    Hi there. Just purchased the software and can’t seem to get past the initial installation. Just gives me the error “Unable to connect to database databaseNameHere”

    I’ve double checked and the information is correct since I get a different message if the info is incorrect.

    Not sure where to go from here. Oh and it’s PHP 5.6 on a dedicated server if that matters.

    I bypassed the installation and setup the database info within the config file. It now gives this error. Is this something on my end?
