No stores showing

  • My SuperStoreLocator was showing only one store out of 320 (which can all be seen in the “Stores” section). In an attempt to correct this issue, I deleted the old stores and re-uploaded the entire list, and now no stores show up at all, but are still visible in the Stores section. Can anyone advise? Locator can be seen at https://fullcircleherb.com/outlets/
    Thanks!

Thank you for your inquiry, try to check your store list and ensure that the lat and long values are not 0,0. If you’re having an issue with import, you can refer to this knowledge base article here http://superstorefinder.net/support/knowledgebase/nothing-happens-when-i-click-import-and-geocode/ . Also, you can try to create a new Google API key and skip step 6 onwards from this article here https://superstorefinder.net/support/knowledgebase/google-maps-api-keys-usage-and-limits/

This is because based on the latest Google updates, geocoding will require a static server IP or without reference at all.

If you’re still facing an issue, kindly provide below details via the contact form here https://codecanyon.net/user/highwarden and we can open a ticket to get our tech team to have a closer look

    1) url of store locator
    2) link to screenshot / description of the issue
    3) temporary WP admin access
    4) temporary FTP access
    5) purchase code with active support

Hi, Thank you for the tip; you were correct, all stores were showing 0.0 latitude/longitude.
I followed the directions on the link provided, making a new api, deleting all stores and re-uploading, but still show 0.0 longitude/latitude.
I repeated this process 6 times, creating new apis each time. I believe I’ve followed the directions correctly on the links provided, but each new api gives the same result. I’m at a bit of a loss as to what to try next.
Is there anything else that can be done to make this plugin work?
    Thanks.

    Hi there,

If you’re still getting 0,0 lat/long, it could be there’s something not right with your API key.

Also, remember is not to repeat 6 times, but to skip step 6 onwards in this article here, which means you don’t have to put reference URL at all when creating a key.

You can test your API key below by replacing YOUR_API_KEY with your Google API key and see the result

    https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/geocode/json?key=YOUR_API_KEY&address=5300+Sunset+Boulevard%2C+Lexington%2C+SC%2C+USA%2C+29072

More details available in this knowledge base article here.

    Cheers,
    Sofia
